Farmers who organically grow their produce and meat don't use conventional methods to fertilize, control weeds, or prevent livestock disease. Conventionally grown foods are cheaper and appear to be identical to an organic food. so why buy organic?
Good for you
1. research has shown that organic foods are more nutritious than non-organic foods.
2. organic samples contained more antioxidants, beneficial phytonutrients. and flavinoids than conventionally raised food.
3. Organic milk and meat are higher in omega 3-fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which are heart healthy fats that increase good cholesterol and lower bad cholesterol.
4. You don't have to worry about handling/consuming toxic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers that can be a health hazard.

2. soil, rivers, and drinking water aren't being affected by toxic persistent chemicals.
